The pricing depends on the level of artistry and intricacy of the design the client wants. The more intricate the design, the higher the cost.

Usually we schedule a meeting at the client's convenience. I bring some cake samples and they taste and make their selection. We discuss the theme, color scheme, event location, time of delivery and cake design. Before hand, I suggest they bring either a color scheme, their invitation, or something they's liked to center the cake design on and we go from there.

I have a Designer's Cake Confectionary Program from the Bonnie Gordon School of Confectionary Arts in Toronto, Canada. I have also worked for five years in the wedding cake business providing clients with wedding cakes, birthdays,baby shower cakes etc.

I recently made a black and white cake for a client who wanted to surprise his wife for her birthday. It was a nail art inspired cake. I was given a photo reference and that was it. It took me around two days from baking to designing the cake.

Please remember that anything custom made isn't cheap. It takes a lot of dedication and passion to help you create your dream cake.It cost money to submit a quote so please put that into consideration when a quote is provided.
