Pods Swimming: Pods Swimming is a year-round aquatics education center that has been serving Providence, Rhode Island, and surrounding communities for over nine years. It is a place where students not only learn how to swim but also develop valuable life skills. With a dedicated staff and a comprehensive curriculum, Pods Swimming provides top-notch swim lessons to learners of all ages and abilities. Directing the operations is Susan, the founder and Director of Pods Swimming. With an impressive 31 years of experience as a swim instructor, Susan has played a pivotal role in teaching thousands of Rhode Islanders to swim through the years. Her passion for aquatics education is evident in the success of Pods Swimming. At Pods Swimming, the focus goes beyond swimming strokes. The curriculum is designed to offer students a solid foundation for life. From learning water safety skills to building confidence and strength, the program aims to empower individuals with the necessary skills to navigate their aquatic surroundings effectively. The teachers at Pods Swimming undergo rigorous training and evaluation processes to ensure that they deliver exceptional instruction to each student. When it comes to class fees, Pods Swimming aims to provide affordable and accessible lessons. Group lessons are priced at $96 per month, covering a 30-minute session once a week. The fee structure is based on a four-week month and is adjusted accordingly for any additional days that fall within a given month. Pods Swimming has a rich history, having originated in 1996 as the Ocean State Squids Learn to Swim program at Brown University. Susan Pascale and Jamie Kotalik joined as coaches in the same year, bringing their expertise and passion for teaching to the program. The legacy of Squids Learn to Swim eventually evolved into what is now known as Pods Swimming, a trusted name in aquatics education in Providence and its surrounding areas.
