Led by Shellie Stasny, a passionate advocate for drowning prevention in the Brazos Valley, our team is committed to helping children develop the ability to float and rest until help arrives. With a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Journalism from Texas A&M University, Shellie brings a unique combination of expertise and enthusiasm to her role as an instructor. Survival swimming lessons at our school focus on teaching children the necessary skills to stay afloat and survive in water-related emergencies. Our curriculum is carefully designed to cater to the specific needs and developmental stages of each child, ensuring that they receive individualized attention and instruction. At the Survival Swim School of the Brazos Valley, we understand the importance of early intervention and believe that prevention is key. By imparting vital survival swimming skills to young children, we aim to mitigate the risks associated with water-related accidents and drownings. We are currently seeking a host pool in the Bryan area to conduct one session of survival swimming lessons starting on May 22. As a physical therapist and an instructor of infant survival swim, Shellie is equipped with the knowledge and expertise to provide comprehensive swim lessons that prioritize safety and well-being.
