Established as the first school in the region to offer massage therapy training, Pittsburgh School of Massage Therapy is dedicated to the art and science of massage. Our program equips students with the knowledge and hands-on skills needed to have a positive impact on the well-being of their clients. One of our esteemed instructors is Gregory Park, a highly experienced Shiatsu practitioner. As a Shiatsu Instructor at Pittsburgh School of Massage Therapy, Gregory shares his expertise in Shiatsu and Thai massage techniques, enriching students' understanding of these modalities. In addition to his role at the school, Gregory is also the owner and director of the Acupressure Centre of Pittsburgh, further showcasing his commitment to promoting holistic wellness. We take pride in offering the only associate of science degree program in massage therapy in Pennsylvania, in partnership with the Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC). This program emphasizes orthopedic assessment and provides students with a strong foundation in the field of massage therapy. Graduates of this program are equipped with the knowledge and skills to excel in a variety of professional settings. At the helm of Pittsburgh School of Massage Therapy is David Briggs, our esteemed President. With a background in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering, David brings a unique perspective to the world of massage therapy education. His commitment to excellence and passion for the field have been instrumental in shaping the school's curriculum and guiding its growth.
