Marin Ventures Presentation: Marin Ventures is a community engagement day program dedicated to fostering independence and personal growth for adults with developmental disabilities. Through our programs, participants are able to connect with their community, gain valuable life skills, and develop meaningful relationships. At Marin Ventures, we believe in the power of community connections. Our mission is to provide a supportive and inclusive environment where individuals with developmental disabilities can thrive. We understand that every person has unique abilities and interests, and we tailor our programs to ensure each participant receives the personalized attention they deserve. One of our key programs is the Community Integration Training program. Eligible participants, referred to us through the Golden Gate Regional Center catchment area, have the opportunity to engage in a variety of activities designed to enhance their social and interpersonal skills. From volunteering at local nonprofits to participating in community events, our participants develop a sense of belonging and purpose. We are currently seeking passionate individuals to join our team as Life Skills Coaches. As a Life Skills Coach at Marin Ventures, you will play a vital role in helping our participants navigate their day-to-day activities, assisting them with various life skills, and fostering a sense of independence. Experience working with people with developmental disabilities is preferred, as we strive to create an environment that is understanding and supportive. Leading the way at Marin Ventures is an experienced and dedicated team of board members and leadership. Our Assistant Director of Student Services for San Rafael City schools brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our organization. With his background as a Person-Centered Thinking trainer, he ensures that our programs are rooted in empathy, respect, and individual choice. At Marin Ventures, we are proud to provide a safe and inclusive environment where individuals with developmental disabilities can thrive. Through community connections and supportive programs, we empower our participants to reach their full potential and lead fulfilling lives.
