With that vision in mind, he founded the Arizona Folklore Preserve, a haven for lovers of western music and folklore. As Arizona's Official State Balladeer, Dolan Ellis brings his unparalleled talent and deep connection to the region to every performance at the Preserve. With a career spanning decades, he has become an icon in the world of Western music, captivating audiences with his heartfelt performances and soul-stirring ballads. But the Arizona Folklore Preserve is more than just Dolan Ellis. We are a vibrant community of artists and musicians, dedicated to preserving and showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the Southwest. Alongside Dolan, we invite guest artists from near and far to grace our stage and entertain our audiences on weekends when he is not performing.
