Founded by husband and wife team Shaun and Amy Salamida, Madrone is deeply rooted in their passion for supporting local agriculture and crafting exceptional wines and ciders. Shaun and Amy started their journey in the wine industry in 2014 when they met and fell in love. Together, they decided to pursue their shared dream of owning a winery and embarked on a mission to create unique and memorable experiences for wine and cider enthusiasts. At Madrone, our commitment to quality is evident in every sip. We carefully select only the finest grapes and apples from local growers to ensure that each bottle of our wine and cider is a true reflection of the terroir and the craftsmanship that goes into making it. Amy wears many hats at Madrone Cellars & Cider. As the official Social Media and Marketing Manager, she works diligently to create engaging content and connect with our valued customers. She also takes on the role of Assistant Winemaker & Cidermaker, contributing her expertise and creativity to the production process. Our tasting room and wine garden, conveniently located in downtown Friday Harbor, provide the perfect setting to savor our wide selection of wines and ciders. From wine flights and glass pours to cider on tap and bottle sales, we offer a range of options to suit every palate. Join us for Happy Hour every Tuesday and Friday from 1-6 PM, where you can enjoy a delightful 20% off on our wine, cider, and food offerings. It's the perfect opportunity to unwind with friends and colleagues while indulging in the flavors of Madrone Cellars & Cider. Planning a visit? We are open Thursday to Sunday from 12-6 PM. Our knowledgeable and friendly staff will guide you through our portfolio, sharing the story behind each bottle and ensuring a memorable experience.
