Leading the way is Darrin Davis, Executive Director of Fine Arts, and Adam J. Foreman, Associate Director of Fine Arts. Together, they oversee the development and implementation of a comprehensive fine arts curriculum that spans across all grade levels. Our team of talented and passionate teachers ensure that students receive a well-rounded arts education that encompasses various disciplines. Allow us to introduce you to one of our exceptional instructors, Katy Cook. As the art teacher at Leisure Park Elementary and the district lead elementary art teacher, Ms. Cook brings her vast experience and knowledge to ignite the artistic spark in young minds. Born and raised in Broken Arrow, she is a proud member of our community and is dedicated to nurturing the artistic talents of her students. But the accomplishments of our fine arts program extend beyond the classroom. We are proud to share that Kyle Todaro, an art teacher at Broken Arrow High School, has been recognized for his outstanding contribution to arts education. He was honored with the Oklahoma Arts Institute's Transformative Teacher Award, a testament to his dedication in inspiring and empowering his students through the arts. At Broken Arrow Fine Arts, we believe that arts education plays a crucial role in fostering creativity, critical thinking, and cultural appreciation. Through a well-rounded curriculum, encompassing disciplines such as visual arts, music, theater, and dance, we strive to empower our students to express themselves authentically and develop a lifelong appreciation for the arts.
