Presentation Dogs for the Deaf, Inc., also known as Dogs for Better Lives (DBL), is a nationally recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with campuses in Central Point, Oregon and Falmouth. We specialize in rescuing homeless dogs from shelters and providing them with a new purpose - helping people in need. Our mission at Dogs for the Deaf is to enhance the lives of individuals with hearing loss by matching them with highly trained assistance dogs. These dogs are not only companions; they serve as a bridge to the world of sound and a source of greater independence for their human partners. One of the key aspects of our work is rescuing dogs from shelters and giving them a second chance at life.
