Bethlehem Inn - Shelter for Homeless Individuals & Families Bethlehem Inn is a non-denominational, community-based facility providing shelter, help, and hope to those experiencing homelessness in Central Oregon. Located on *information hidden*Mervin Sampels Rd., Bend, OR, the inn serves as a safe haven for individuals and families in need. Our mission is to transform lives by providing shelter, meals, case management, and essential support services to empower residents to transition from crisis to stability. With a dedicated staff of case management professionals, we are committed to helping our residents rebuild their lives and regain their independence. One of the challenges we have faced is the need to address a $2 million loan, which we have been working diligently to repay. Throughout this process, we have relied on the support of Deschutes County officials and the community to ensure the continued operation of Bethlehem Inn and its vital services. Collaboration is at the heart of our work. We have established partnerships with over 70 agencies, including social service organizations, healthcare providers, and community resources, enabling us to offer a comprehensive range of support services to our residents. Together, with our service partners, we strive to empower individuals and families to overcome their circumstances and achieve stability. Recently, we celebrated a significant milestone with the opening of our new family shelter in Bend. This state-of-the-art facility replaces a dilapidated shelter and doubles our capacity, potentially housing up to 10 families at a time. This expansion allows us to provide a safe and comfortable environment for even more individuals and families who are seeking refuge from homelessness. At Bethlehem Inn, we are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness in Central Oregon. With the support of our community, we can continue to provide shelter, help, and hope to those who need it most.
