We understand that the college experience can be challenging as students navigate academic, personal, physical, interpersonal, social, or spiritual needs. That's why CAPS is here to provide support, guidance, and resources to help you thrive during your college journey. Our dedicated team of professionals is committed to promoting your well-being. With a holistic approach, we offer a wide range of counseling services to address your unique needs. Whether you're struggling with stress, anxiety, depression, or relationship issues, our experienced counseling staff is here to provide a listening ear and supportive environment. At CAPS, we believe in a preventative approach to mental health. We offer various programs, workshops, and events that empower students to develop skills for self-care, resilience, and emotional well-being. These initiatives aim to equip you with the tools and knowledge to navigate the challenges you may face both during college and beyond. As part of the College of New Jersey's School of Education, our counseling program is dedicated to training future generations of mental health professionals. Through our counseling and clinical internships, we provide practical experience and mentorship opportunities to students pursuing careers in counseling and psychology. Our program offers on-campus internships and is supervised by experienced professionals in the field. Additionally, TCNJ, as a whole, offers a diverse range of degree programs through its seven schools. These schools include Arts and Communication, Business, Education, Engineering, Humanities and Social Sciences, with each offering comprehensive and industry-relevant education to prepare students for their future careers. We are excited to welcome our newest staff member, Destiny De La Rosa, to the CAPS team. A graduate of TCNJ with a BA in Psychology and a MA in Counseling, Destiny brings her expertise in schools and substance abuse to enhance our services further.
