At the Beth Ray Center for Academic Support, we understand the importance of supporting student-athletes in balancing their athletic commitments with their academic endeavors. Our team of dedicated tutors and facilitators, led by Julia Adesida, work closely with student-athletes to provide personalized academic guidance and support. With Julia's extensive knowledge and experience in working with student-athletes, we ensure that they are engaged and motivated to excel in their studies. But our center is not limited to just student-athletes. We believe in providing academic support to all students, regardless of their background or field of study. Our tutors and facilitators are well-equipped to assist students from various disciplines, helping them navigate through challenging coursework, develop effective study habits, and improve their overall academic performance. The Beth Ray Center for Academic Support is named in honor of educator Beth Ray, who was not only an esteemed academic but also the wife of the former Oregon State University president. Prior to her private practice, Beth taught business law as an assistant professor at Ohio State University's finance department. Her passion for education and commitment to student success serve as the guiding principles for our center. With a state-of-the-art facility and a dedicated team, we are proud to offer a comprehensive range of academic support services. These include one-on-one tutoring, group study sessions, study skills workshops, and academic coaching.
