Wipe Out Kids' Cancer (WOKC) is a 30-year-old non-profit organization that is dedicated to investing in the lives of children by funding local cancer research and providing crucial support to families affected by pediatric cancer. Each year, we join forces with generous local businesses and individuals to host a range of incredible events that drive fundraising, raise awareness, and provide financial and emotional support to children battling cancer. Our events serve as a platform for us to engage the community in our mission to wipe out kids' cancer. From fun runs and galas to charity auctions and awareness campaigns, each event is carefully curated to unite people from all walks of life in the fight against pediatric cancer. But our efforts extend beyond fundraising alone. WOKC also focuses on funding innovative pediatric cancer research, supporting the development of life-saving treatments and therapies that have the potential to transform the lives of children affected by cancer. We understand that navigating through a cancer diagnosis can be overwhelming for families. That's why we are committed to providing not just financial assistance, but also emotional support and family engagement opportunities. We firmly believe that during the toughest times, no family should ever feel alone in their battle against cancer. The impact of our work has been widely recognized. Recently, a local fundraising challenge organized by WOKC raised an impressive $20,000, thanks to the dedicated efforts of students at Allen High School and Southlake Carroll High School. This achievement is a testament to the passion and commitment of our supporters in making a difference in the lives of children fighting cancer. Founded by Cindy Brinker Simmons in 1980, Wipe Out Kids' Cancer has been relentless in our pursuit for a day when cancer is no longer a threat to any child. Our vision is to create a world where every child can thrive, free from the burden of pediatric cancer.
