Professional experienceCASA of Linn County Presentation
Welcome to the CASA of Linn County presentation. We are a local nonprofit organization dedicated to providing crucial support to children who have experienced abuse or neglect. Our mission is to serve every abused and neglected child in our community.
At CASA of Linn County, we believe that every child deserves a safe and loving home. Yet, sadly, many children find themselves in difficult situations, where they are victims of abuse or neglect. That's where we come in.
Our dedicated team of professionals works tirelessly to recruit, train, and support community volunteers to serve as advocates for these children. These volunteers, known as CASAs (Court Appointed Special Advocates), play a crucial role in representing the best interests of the children they are assigned to. They work closely with the court system, social workers, and other professionals to ensure that these children receive the support and care they need.
With the guidance and support of CASA volunteers, children are given a voice in court proceedings and are more likely to find safe and permanent homes. We firmly believe that every child deserves to grow up in a nurturing environment, and we are committed to making that a reality.
