Led by Superintendent Jo-Ann Sexton, the district office ensures the smooth operation and success of the entire school district. Jo-Ann Sexton assumed the role of Superintendent on July 1, 2021, bringing with her a wealth of experience and a passion for education. With a background in education administration, she has a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing our district. Jo-Ann is committed to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Serving as the right hand to the Superintendent, Shannon Gillette holds the position of Assistant Superintendent. With years of experience in education and a strong background in instructional leadership, Shannon plays a pivotal role in supporting the district's educational programs and initiatives. She works closely with teachers, staff, and parents to foster a collaborative and nurturing learning environment. Zachary Woodard, as the School Business Administrator, ensures the district's financial stability and effective fiscal management. With his expertise in budgeting, finance, and operations, Zachary plays a critical role in ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently to meet the needs of students, staff, and the community. Under the guidance of the Superintendent's Office, the Whitney Point Central School District thrives, providing an exceptional education to its students. From curriculum development and instructional support to financial management and community engagement, the district office is committed to providing the necessary resources and leadership that drive student success. At Whitney Superintendent's Office, we firmly believe in collaboration, excellence, and student-centered learning.
