One of the highlight programs at Washington Elementary School is our driver education program. We partner with the esteemed private contractor, Jordan Driving School, to provide comprehensive driver education courses to our students. Whether it's after school hours, Saturdays, holiday breaks, or during the summer months, we make sure that our students have access to quality driver education that prepares them for the responsibilities of the road. Ensuring the safety and eligibility of our students to drive is of utmost importance to us. Our driver education courses are designed to meet the requirements for a driving eligibility certificate, in accordance with Chapter 115C regulations. Students can find information on class offerings and registration on the Jordan Driving School website, jordandriving.com. For any questions or concerns, our lead Driver Education teacher is available to provide further guidance. Our commitment to excellence extends beyond the classroom. We take pride in our diverse community of students and celebrate their unique talents and achievements. We are thrilled to spotlight the accomplishments of one of our fifth-grade phenoms, Ava N. Simmons, also known as Ava The S.T.E.M. Princess®. Ava, along with her sister Chynah Jeter, represent the incredible potential and passion that exist within our student body. As we continue to navigate the world of education, Washington Elementary School remains dedicated to providing a holistic and empowering learning experience for our students.
