Our experienced team of instructors, led by James M. Scanlon, the Site Director of Driver Education, strives to create a supportive learning environment where students can develop a strong foundation in driving techniques and road safety practices. With a focus on both classroom and practical instruction, our program ensures that students are well-prepared to face real-world driving situations. The driver education program at Bogan High School consists of three phases. The classroom phase covers essential topics such as traffic laws, road signs, and defensive driving strategies. Students also have the opportunity to engage in range and simulation exercises, allowing them to practice and refine their driving skills in a controlled environment. The next phase is the on-the-street instruction, where students gain practical experience behind the wheel. Under the guidance of our skilled instructors, students navigate through various road conditions, intersections, and parking scenarios. This hands-on training significantly enhances their ability to handle different driving situations confidently. Safety is our top priority at Bogan High School.
