In collaboration with a team of dedicated school bus drivers and attendants/monitors, Herricks UFSD strives to provide reliable transportation services to its students. With a commitment to safety and timely arrival, the transportation team at Herricks Middle School ensures that students can focus on their education without any transportation concerns. Counseling and Wellness Center / Middle School Mind Recognizing the importance of student's mental and emotional well-being, Herricks Middle School houses a Counseling and Wellness Center. The center aims to provide comprehensive support for students, addressing their social, emotional, and academic needs. The dedicated and compassionate staff at the Counseling and Wellness Center work collaboratively with students, parents, and teachers to promote a positive and inclusive school climate. By offering counseling services, organizing workshops, and implementing evidence-based interventions, the center ensures that students have the necessary tools to navigate the challenges they may face during their middle school years. Driver Education Info Herricks UFSD also offers driver's education to its students. With the office open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM during the school year (September through June), and in July and August (summer), Herricks Middle School provides an opportunity for students to gain the necessary knowledge and skills for safe driving. By offering driver's education, Herricks Middle School contributes to the overall educational experience of its students, preparing them for life beyond the school walls.
