Starting in 1978, Jill began her journey as a dance teacher, sharing her passion and knowledge with students of all ages. Her expertise and dedication have made her a staple in the dance community, earning her a position as faculty member in Wichita State University's Dance Department where she lectures in Dance History. At the Jill Landrith School of Dance, we offer a wide range of dance classes for dancers of all levels and ages. From ballet and lyrical to tap, jazz, and contemporary, our comprehensive program ensures that each student receives a well-rounded dance education. Our classes provide a fusion of different dance styles, allowing dancers to explore their creativity and express themselves through movement. Our one-time-a-week class, specifically designed for dancers aged 10 and up, combines ballet, modern, and jazz techniques. This dynamic class not only focuses on mastering technical skills but also encourages students to use creative expression to tell their own unique stories through dance. In addition to her role as an instructor, Jill has also made significant contributions to the dance community as the former artistic director of Ballet Wichita, where she led the organization for an impressive 20 years.
