Lower East Side Dance Academy - CLOSED Welcome to Lower East Side Dance Academy, a premier dance institution that has served the Manhattan community for many years. Located at 62 Orchard St. Fl 2 in the vibrant Lower East Side neighborhood of New York City, our academy was dedicated to providing outstanding dance training and fostering a love for the art form. Sadly, Lower East Side Dance Academy is now closed. We want to express our gratitude to all the students, parents, and staff who made our academy a special place filled with creativity and passion for dance. While our doors may be closed, the memories and experiences shared within our studio will continue to live on. During our years of operation, Lower East Side Dance Academy offered more than just dance classes. We provided a nurturing environment where students could explore their artistic potential, develop their technique, and grow as individuals. Our highly skilled and experienced instructors were committed to delivering top-notch training across various dance styles, including hip hop, ballet, contemporary, jazz, and more. One of the highlights of our academy was our exceptional rehearsal space. Our state-of-the-art facility spanned over 18,000 square feet and housed four studios available for rentals. The Howard Gilman Performance Space, with a seating capacity of 150 audience members, was perfect for showcasing the talents of our students and hosting intimate performances. Our dedication to excellence earned us recognition as one of the top dance studios in Manhattan. We were proud to be listed among the best dance studios in the area, offering a variety of classes and programs for dancers of all ages and skill levels. Lower East Side Dance Academy provided a welcoming and inclusive environment where students could express themselves, build confidence, and forge lifelong friendships. Although Lower East Side Dance Academy is no longer in operation, we encourage aspiring dancers to explore other reputable dance institutions in the area. Manhattan is home to several outstanding dance studios, including FORWARD__Space, Fred Astaire Dance Studios, Dance With Me SoHo, Peridance Center, DivaDance, and East Village Dance. These establishments offer a range of classes and opportunities for dancers to continue their training and pursue their passion for dance. We understand that the dance community is constantly evolving, and we want to support independent musicians and performers as well.
