As the pastor of Sacred Heart Parish, he touched the lives of many and left a lasting impact on the parishioners he served. Father Dunne's passing is a great loss for the Diocese of Tyler and the entire Catholic community. His unwavering dedication, compassion, and commitment to his vocation will be deeply missed. During this time of bereavement, the Diocese of Tyler offers support and comfort to those who are grieving. Our bereavement team, comprised of dedicated volunteers, stands ready to assist families in their time of need. We understand the importance of community and gathering together to mourn and remember our loved ones. The bereavement team provides various services, including coordinating funeral arrangements and providing assistance with food preparation. We have a large group of people who contribute their cooking skills, ensuring that families are supported during this challenging time. Our team understands the importance of being sensitive to each family's unique needs and traditions. At the Catholic Diocese of Tyler, we believe in honoring the memory of those who have passed away with dignity and respect. We offer funeral Masses and interment services, steeped in the rich traditions and rituals of the Catholic Church.
