Established in 1954, Society for the Blind is a trusted resource and comprehensive rehabilitation center for individuals who are blind or have low vision. Serving 27 counties in Northern California, our organization is located in the heart of Midtown Sacramento, where we have been dedicated to serving our community for over 60 years.
At Society for the Blind, we offer a wide range of classes and services to support individuals in their journey towards independence and empowerment. Our programs are designed to address the unique needs and challenges faced by people with visual impairments, enabling them to lead fulfilling and productive lives.
Our classes cover a variety of subjects, including orientation and mobility, adaptive technology, independent living skills, employment readiness, and recreation and leisure activities.
