Welcome to the Edith Bishel Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired! We are a non-profit organization located in Kennewick, Washington, dedicated to providing support and resources to individuals with blindness and low vision in southeast Washington State.
Established in 1988, the Edith Bishel Center has been serving the blind and visually impaired community for over three decades. Our mission is to promote independence, empower individuals, and enhance the quality of life for those affected by blindness and vision loss.
Our center offers a wide range of services and programs tailored to meet the unique needs and challenges faced by individuals with visual impairments. We provide comprehensive vision rehabilitation services, including training in mobility and orientation, daily living skills, assistive technology, and employment readiness.
