Mr. Black's commitment to excellence extends beyond the classroom. He actively seeks opportunities for his students to perform at prestigious venues and events. One notable event is the Dallas Symphony Concert at Stonebriar Community Church, where the Frisco High School Orchestra had the privilege of showcasing their talent on stage. The orchestra's performance was met with critical acclaim and left a lasting impression on all in attendance. In addition to directing the orchestra, Mr. Black is also involved in the music education community in Frisco, TX. He collaborates with Music & Arts, located at 3211 Preston Road Suite 14, to provide instrument rentals and music lessons to aspiring musicians in the area. This partnership ensures students have access to quality instruments and professional instruction, furthering their musical development and passion for the arts. Furthermore, Mr. Black plays an integral role in the Frisco HS Band. Apart from directing the Wind Symphony and co-teaching the Symphonic Band and Marching Band, he also leads the Basketball Band, bringing the electrifying energy of music to the school's sporting events.
