Swingposium: San Jose Taiko's highly-acclaimed Swingposium is a powerful performance that uses the art of taiko to teach about Internment and foster dialogue around civil rights. By honoring the past and shedding light on important social issues, Swingposium sparks conversations and encourages audiences to reflect on the significance of preserving civil liberties and promoting equality. Educational Programs: Our school outreach program aims to celebrate America's cultural diversity by sharing the art of taiko through captivating performances and educational programs. We believe that through cultural exchange and understanding, we can foster a more inclusive and globally aware society. Join us as we inspire and educate students of all ages about the rich heritage and significance of taiko drumming. Senior Programs at San Jose Taiko Conservatory: As part of our commitment to lifelong learning and engagement, San Jose Taiko offers master classes specifically designed for musicians and dancers. These classes provide a unique opportunity for experienced individuals to deepen their skills and explore the art of taiko in a supportive and collaborative environment. Join us at the San Jose Taiko Studio located at 377 Royal Ave, San Jose, on September 6th, 13th, 20th, and 27th for our Senior Programs.
