The Bullock Texas State History Museum is the perfect destination for an educational and fun-filled day. Our field trip program features hands-on activities and captivating performances, such as dancing and drumming, that will keep your students engaged and entertained. Additionally, we offer on-demand digital resources that you can utilize to enhance the learning experience both in the classroom and during your visit. As an integral part of the Austin community, we strive to bring people together through various events. On September 14th, 2023, we will be hosting the Austin Swing Syndicate Swing Dance Night, featuring classes and social dances. It promises to be a night of rhythm, movement, and good company. Join us and experience the joy of swing dancing while surrounded by the vibrant atmosphere of our museum. On September 20th, 2023, we invite you to attend Dance Lessons with Terri White at the renowned Broken Spoke. Starting at 8:00 pm, this event is perfect for those looking to learn some new dance moves or improve their skills. Following the dance lessons, there will be a Swing Dance Night at The Mansion (TFWC) where you can put your newly acquired dance skills to the test.
