Chumstick Wildfire Stewardship Coalition: Promoting Resilience and Restoration The Chumstick Wildfire Stewardship Coalition (CWSC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting forest restoration and building wildfire resilience in the Leavenworth, WA area. With a focus on the wildland urban interface areas, the coalition works collaboratively with residents, businesses, agencies, and organizations to address the elevated risks of wildfires and foster a resilient community. At CWSC, our mission is to take a grass-roots community-based approach to solving problems in a practical and inclusive manner. We understand the importance of actively engaging the local community to develop effective strategies and implement sustainable solutions. Through education, outreach, and hands-on projects, we aim to create a safer and more sustainable environment for all. One of our key projects is the emphasis on emergency treatments to reduce the risks of wildfires.
