First, we have Michele Dormaier, an experienced instructor who believes in the transformative power of theatre. With her passion for teaching and her commitment to nurturing each student's unique talents, Michele brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the classroom. Next, we have Wendy Guillotte, our Administrative Assistant III. With her exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, Wendy ensures the smooth functioning of our department. Her commitment to providing excellent administrative support allows our faculty and staff to focus on creating meaningful experiences for our students. Heading our School of Theatre is Mark Guinn, an accomplished director. As the Director of the School of Theatre, Mark's vision and leadership have brought numerous successful productions to our stage. He is dedicated to cultivating a collaborative and supportive environment where students can thrive and learn. In addition to our faculty and staff, Louisiana Tech University offers a comprehensive Theatre program within the Division of Performing Arts in the College of Liberal Arts. Whether your interests lie in performance, design, technical aspects, or stage management, our Theatre Concentration in Communication is designed to cater to your passions and career aspirations. As part of the vibrant performing arts scene on campus, we are proud to have The Arthur W. Stone Theatre as our main performance venue. With state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, our theater provides the perfect setting for our students to showcase their talent and creativity. We also offer a variety of ensembles and performance groups such as The Band of Pride, The Chamber Singers, The Guitar Ensemble, and The Louisiana Tech Concert Association. These opportunities allow students to further develop their skills and gain valuable performance experience while collaborating with other talented individuals. At the Louisiana Tech University School of Theatre, we believe in providing students with a well-rounded education that goes beyond the stage. That is why we offer comprehensive training in areas such as dance, movement, stage combat, playwriting, and stage management. Our aim is to equip our students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the ever-evolving world of theater.
